Stranger Danger

What it feels like to lose ...

Somebody's past was tense.
Now I'm left with the dreams of the lost.
But you're still living.

That's what makes the hurt even worse.

Disconnected from the familiar
The familia.
Prodigal is a pretty strong word
Perhaps it sounds like a curse.

Does it arrest your attention?
Perhaps if I speak in Spanish or German you'll listen.
Aviso, Achtung!

Trading in safety
Trading in friends
In exchange for a little fun.

Stranger danger.

I wonder which will come first,
Pride or Fall?
The serpent was the most beautiful angel of all.
Independence often taste like apples.

Ever notice anger looks a lot like danger?

The Imperfect Man for the Job

God used an outspoken, polished, vindictive Roman citizen
to travel to the nations.

Fluent in Greek yet speaking with Hebraic precision.
Academic knowledge of the ways of Moses.
Descendant of Benjamin
Mentioned in Philippians three
Verse six.

You made me LOL when you said your legalism was "faultless".

New mission, was to teach them:
Legal righteousness is only surpassed by knowing Christ Jesus.
Faith allows the Lord to be your personal Leader,
Personal Trainer
Rabbi / Teacher

Now enrolling students for the second semester -- of life.

In the third chapter of a letter to Corinth
I learned "The Lord is the Spirit".
Therefore, I must be Spirit led.

If faith has no oxygen, righteousness is short lived.

Israeli Pharisee Emeritus
Saw old glory fade in comparison.
Now everything he amassed was considered nothing.

If Paul still had the temple keys
He would've pawned off the Arc of the Covenant.
In exchange for the surpassing new one.

The Audience

Music without conformance
Poetry without performance
Enjoyment is a benefit
When the audience is One.

Don't always go where crowds have been
Pursue the mysteries of heaven.
Traveling to all nations,
Be sure and leave behind some breadcrumbs.

Trail blaze.
Path pave.
A life well lived is disciplined.
The more I know the language of Love
The less truth seems so foreign.
